Mexican economy has been evolving profoundly since the early 80s when it was closed and inward-looking and our export sector was almost limited to oil. Nowadays, Mexico is a very open economy with a network of 12 Free Trade Agreements distributed in most of the continents. However, some recent events in U.S. politics represent a serious challenge for our trade and development policies. El Ministro César Guerra es el representante de la Secretaría de Economía ante la Unión Europea. Actualmente trabaja en la revisión del Tratado de Libre Comercio de México con Europa (AELC/ EFTA).
