Forró beginners workshop

New to forró or wanting to review what you already know? This beginners workshop will break down the basic steps, introduce you to the different forró rhythms and present some basic turns, supported by lots of practical exercises to build confidence and get you dancing. We will cover leading and following, as well as discussing the origins of forró.

What is forró?
Forró is a Brazilian couple’s dance from the north-east of Brazil which spread to the rest of Brazil and is now taking over Europe one city at a time. It can be lively and dynamic, or sensual and sweet, but it is, above all, welcoming and fun!
