VOICE FROM THE GROUND: The Venezuelan Crisis

Join Justice and Peace and Lola Bikes and Coffee for the first series of talks for Ride for Rights with special guest speaker, Beatriz, a Venezuelan journalist and human rights defender. Beatriz works on the front line of defending press freedom in Venezuela, which is seeing a growing repression against journalists and the freedom of press and information. She will tell about the situation from her perspective as a journalist, her challenges, life, work, and hopes.

The evening will also give you the chance to get to know about Ride for Rights Netherlands, a human rights and cycle movement, with this year hosting a one day cycle challenge through the Netherlands to draw attention to human rights and activists who commit themselves daily to protecting them.

This event is organised by Hague-based human rights organisation, Justice and Peace Netherlands, together with Lola Bikes and Coffee.
