Corruption and Governance in Latin America
Edgardo A. Buscaglia (Columbia University)

Edgardo Buscaglia received his legal postdoctoral training in jurisprudence and social policy at the University of California at Berkeley law school. He also received a master’s in law and economics and a Ph.D. in economics from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, where he was a Fulbright and ITT scholar. A fellow at the Hoover Institution at Stanford University and director of the International Law and Economic Development Centre, he lectures at the University of Virginia and is a visiting professor at the law school of the Instituto Tecnológico Autonomo de Mexico. He serves as a legal/economic senior adviser to several international organizations (e.g. UN and World Bank), bilateral institutions in the United States (e.g. USAID) and in Europe (e.g. GTZ), and the US Government.
